As part of the redevelopment of New Cavendish Street, nine new residential apartments were constructed as part of the project. This consisted of four single bed apartments and three three bed apartments all located on the ground floor. Along with these, two Penthouse flats were also constructed on the 10th floor.

The existing development of forty seven apartments was further enhanced by the installation of new power, heating and water supplies from the basement plant areas. These new installations meant carefully timed power shutdown and switchovers to new supplies were required  to minimise the disruption.

 

The ground floor flats were fitted out to a high specification including fully fitted bespoke kitchens, bath and shower rooms.

 

Flooring throughout was generally polished hardwood.

 

The Penthouse flats were fitted out similarly however the services were different due to their distance from the basement plant areas. New hot water supplies are fed via a solar heating system and a HVAC system. Under floor heating was also installed.

 

The Penthouse apartments were constructed largely with a glazed curtain walling system to maximize the views across London.
