Faithdean Plc was initially appointed for the comprehensive strip out of Sony’s flagship London headquarters which covered in excess of 70,000 square foot. We were then subsequently awarded the refurbishment and fit out contract on a two stage tender basis. The programme period in total was 44 weeks.

The Cat A scheme consisted of a redesign to all floors with the inclusion of a new cellular glazed offices and meeting rooms, new electrical and partial mechanical installations. The provision of cellular office space was achieved with the combination of plasterboard cross walls and glass fronts, enhanced with bespoke spray lacquered doors and frames with a range of colours complimenting the clients furniture.

The ground floor was reconfigured to enable the inclusion of a new reception, café and kitchen area partially contained with a new glazed atrium forming the focal point for the scheme. This atrium consisted of a glazed bridge walk way overlooking a restaurant area which incorporated reclaimed timber on its internal east elevation with Romeo and Juliet balcony windows.
