9 Grosvenor Square, London, W1

Faithdean achieves an excellent 37/50 for its latest Considerate Constructors Score at 9 Grosvenor Square, London, W1

The inspector said “First impressions are excellent. The community engagement is positive and the contractor is fully engaged with the upgrade of this extremely prestigious building.”

The site is located in the very prestigious Grosvenor Square, London, W1. This historical building was formerly home to John Adams when he served as the first minister from the United States to the Court of St. James’s, and more recently owned by Tony Blair. Number 9 is now the only office building on Grosvenor Square.

The works comprise the refurbishment and renovation of the Grade 2 listed Georgian building, including the removal and replacement of all M&E, temporary propping to allow removal of load bearing walls, redecoration and replacement of flooring to the 1st floor and upgrades to the ground floor reception area and meeting rooms. New office space will be created in the basement and there will be new kitchen and toilet facilities provided plus the installation of a new lift into the existing lift shaft. Externally, the building will be rerendered, the brickwork will be repointed and the windows will be refurbished and redecorated. There are Party Wall Awards in place with properties on both sides.

Well done to the project team and all involved in the Grosvenor Square project, with special thanks to the site manager Andrew Cohen.
